Reactive Consumption and Distributed Generation-Adequate Reactive Compensation
Abstract
Distributed generation (DG) is an interesting alternative in the search for reduction of supply costs, but in addition to the classic care related to interconnection, equipment and the approval of the distributor's own access project, electric power quality should be highlighted, the power factor, harmonics, and harmonic resonance. The analyze study shows the consequences of PF with the insertion of DG-PV, from simulations in DIgSilent in three possible scenarios: Grid and DG, Grid and DG with capacitors, Grid and DG with antiresonance filter, as expected the THDv has an increase considered in scenario 2 compared to scenario 1, proving the need for the antiresonance filter, with the implementation of the filter the system will operate with THDv of 4.3%. © 2022 IEEE.
