The undergraduate programs in Brazil follow national guidelines in which are stated the competences that need to be developed along the course by students. Schools may include other specific competencies in order to meet their own demands. To achieve an integrative approach between the Engineering, Design and Administration programs, interacting in multidisciplinary projects, one institution proposed a list of convergent competencies based on the tripod of innovation aimed at empowering its students for a global scenario. In this work is presented the process of building this list of competencies for the training of professionals in these three areas, with an updated and innovative profile. The research method was at first step, the documental analysis, that allowed to identify a convergent list of competences. From this list it was possible to build the questionnaire to survey the competences that was indicated by instructor in their projects and, that will be used too to gather perceived by students after to fulfill the projects, and to evaluate how close are the perception of students with stated by instructors. © 2023 IEEE.
