Microwave Drying Of Microorganisms .2. Use Of Microwave Oven For Determination Of Moisture-Content Of Pressed Yeast
Abstract
The use of a microwave oven for the determination of the moisture content of pressed yeast [Saccharomyces cerevisiae] was tested. Results obtained were compared with those determined by means of a conventional drying oven. A linear correlation exists between the results obtained by the methods cited above.
