Mechanism Of The Film Thickness Increasing During The Bacterial Production Of Cellulose On Non-Agitated Liquid-Media

Abstract

The thickness increasing of the cellulosic films produced by bacterid on non-agitated liquid media is due to the formation of new cellulose layers at the film/air interface.
